La Venta Inn
Cherish the Memories!
Did you celebrate your wedding at La Venta, a birthday, anniversary, or special family gathering?
I illustrated this beloved venue as more than a part of Palos Verdes history, rather to remind us of its beauty and all the memories of Life's special moments its many guests have enjoyed over the years.
Known for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Santa Monica Bay and the Pacific Ocean below, La Venta has become a much sought after venue for weddings and special events - the perfect backdrop for any treasured occasion.
Built in the summer of 1923, La Venta Inn was created as the sales office hosting realtors and developers for the Palos Verdes Project. In 1978 it was designated as an historical landmark by the Rancho de Los Palos Verdes Historical Society.
La Venta Inn was constructed by architect brothers Pierpont and Walter Swinsdell Davis in the Spanish Villa style. It was the first building on the peninsula to welcome prospective investors.
